KPOP Idols Who Graduated

BTS
The global phenomenon that is BTS has not only captivated audiences with their music but has also demonstrated an unwavering commitment to lifelong learning. With the exception of Jungkook, who is diligently working towards his degree, the six eldest members – Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, and V – have completed their undergraduate studies through the Entertainment & Media Division at Global Cyber University.
Jin before completing the aforementioned degree also finished a degree in film at Hanyang University in 2017.

SEVENTEEN
Seventeen’s been booked and busy since they debuted. Though it’s quite known that Vernon dropped out of High School and he really cannot give out advice to fans struggling in college, he’s actually learning a foreign language, mandarin for that matter.
On the other hand, the hyung line, S. Coups, Jeonghan, and Woozi entered Anyang University for the Graduate School of Business & Public Administration. Prior to this, Jeongcheol studied Practical Music Course for KPOP and Woozi also graduated from Hanlim Multi Art School with a Major in Film Production in 2015.
SHINEE
The members of SHINee have etched their names into the annals of academic excellence, each carving a unique path toward intellectual fulfillment. Jonghyun and Taemin both earned master’s degrees in Film and Musical Studies from the esteemed Myongji University,
while Key completed the same program at the undergraduate level before securing a master’s degree in Culture and Education Contents Development at Woosuk University.
Minho, too, followed suit, earning a master’s degree in Film Acting from Konkuk University,
and Onew received his master’s in Practical Music from Chungwoon University.

While several members of the phenomenal EXO have reportedly studied at Kyung Hee Cyber University, Xiumin stands out as a shining example of academic prowess.
He not only obtained a master’s degree in music from Catholic Kwandong University but also allegedly entered a doctorate program at Hoseo University. Chen has Master’s degree in Advertisement Media. Suho and Baekhyun has Degrees in culture, art, business administration. Chanyeol studied Interior Design in Inha University (and might actually have a double degree with business). Kai and Sehun are alumni of School of Performing Arts Seoul. D.O has an MBA.

Shattering the notion that idols solely pursue performance-related disciplines, Shownu of MONSTA X earned a bachelor’s degree in Economic. Plus, he was also pursuing a master’s degree a couple of years ago, and probably might have finished it by now.

Sojin, a member of the beloved Girl’s Day, carved her own path in the male-dominated field of Mechanical Engineering. The members of DAY6 have not only captivated audiences and convenience stores of South Korea with their music but have also excelled in their academic pursuits.
Dowoon obtained a bachelor’s degree in Applied Music from Busan Arts College, while Young K secured a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the esteemed Dongguk University.
Kep1er
Even before making her debut in the K-Pop industry, Xiaoting of Kep1er had already achieved academic excellence. She studied in the Department of Performance at the Conservatory of Music University and even graduated with flying colors.

Inseong earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communications from the prestigious Kyunghee University, while Jaeyoon received his bachelor’s degree in Music from the esteemed Dongah Institute.
WJSN
The members of WJSN, Soobin and EXY, have both graced the halls of Dongduk Women’s University.
While EXY is known to have earned a bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting and Entertainment, Soobin’s major remains undisclosed, though she is allegedly pursuing a master’s degree, further solidifying her commitment to academic excellence.

Jay B attended Geonguk University, where he secured a bachelor’s degree in Film, while Jinyoung allegedly obtained a bachelor’s degree in Acting from Howon University.
